Jack Chan . TIA City Chapter Lead (Kuala Lumpur)

Jack Chan is the cofounder of DOJO KL Coworking Space, a community-focused workspace in Downtown KL. DOJO takes a people first approach. We believe that inspiration, happiness, and connection enable us to freely create and innovate, which ultimately leads to increased productivity. Before DOJO, he was an analyst in Deutsche Bank and has covered multiple sectors in the ASEAN region in his 5 years in finance. Outside of DOJO, Jack is currently the Tech In Asia KL Chapter Lead and is a regular contributor to the local community articles. Jack is a graduate from University of Melbourne and has interned in Bank Negara Malaysia.

Christopher Star . TIA City Chapter Lead (Manila)

Christopher Star is the Managing Partner & Co-Founder of XS by XS, an on-demand digital marketing agency for startups and brands in Southeast Asia. He also currently serves as a Marketing Director at We The Pvblic, a Partner at Techtonic Tech Conference, Manila City Chapter Head at Tech in Asia, and Brand Ambassador at Z.com. His track record speaks for itself. He formerly lead the regional marketing efforts for several tech startups such as GuavaPass, HappyFresh, Duriana, Paktor, Lazada and many more. He helps startups launch, acquire new users, and expand in new markets. He is a community builder with a passion in connecting people to collaborate.

Sejung Yun . TIA City Chapter Lead (Seoul)

Sejung is Head of Business Development for the Southeast Asia Region at Cloudike, spearheading international marketing and investor relations. In his spare time, Sejung is also the Tech in Asia City Chapter Head for Seoul.

Nicolette Tan . TIA City Chapter Lead (Singapore)

Nicolette is an Assistant Manager at Singapore’s Smart Nation and Digital Government Office. Interested in the intersection of technology and public policy for smart cities development. Personally interested in digital inclusion, foodtech/agritech, tech education, good leadership and organizational development. Data driven, but human centered. A strong believer in the power of good design. She is TIA City Chapter Lead (SG) and feature CEOs and business development heads of startups in a series on “Startup Expansions” on Tech in Asia.

Amado Trejo . TIA City Chapter Lead (Shanghai)

Amado is the Co-Founder and COO of Free Entrepreneurs; a Shanghai-based platform focus on developing networks for open innovation projects in different Startup ecosystems. He has also specialized in higher education outreach between Asia and Latin America; expert on trade, investment and tourism promotion projects between China and Mexico; social entrepreneur with focus on redesigning public policies with the support of technological innovations. Having an International Relations and Public Policy background with international trade negotiations as specialty, Amado has acquired public experience, and a robust contact network working in multicultural environments for the past 18 years in Mexico, France, Switzerland and China. Amado has participated as coach and Startup mentor for SeedStars China, doo+, swissnex China. Fellow from the Startup Leadership Program (SLP) Shanghai, he was appointed as Ambassador to China by Seedstars World (Swiss-based organization supporting startups in Emerging Markets) since 2017 and he is currently the Shanghai City Chapter Leader for “Tech in Asia”, a Singapore-based media startup focus on technology and innovation in Asia.

Vijetha Shastry . TIA City Chapter Lead (Bangalore)

Vijetha is the chapter lead at Techinasia in Bangalore, India. Senior volunteer and in-house mentor at Headstart, Lead-Open innovation at Nasscom Centre of Excellence for IoT. Active in the startup ecosystem as an enabler, connector. Evangelist at Fame Technologies.
